Debit Side Annotation

Lines 1-6 - Lines 1-6 appear in the bottom half of the folio page.  At the top of the folio page, GW had written, and then crossed out, similarly worded transactions as those now appearing in lines 1-4. In addition, he had given the date of "1769 Novr 10" to the entry similar to that now appearing in line 4. Moreover, instead of entering the transaction in the present line 5, GW had written, and crossed out, the following transaction, dated January 1772: "To Expences at Arrells in Alexa. settling with the Assignees of Jno. Semple for ye [the] Maryld Land". The amount he entered was £1.17.9. GW wrote a similarly worded transaction on line 3 of the credit side of folio page 3 in Ledger B. 

Credit Side Annotation

Lines 1-10 - In the top half of the folio page, GW wrote, and then crossed out, transactions 1-8. He lined through the entire section, including "Contra Cr," the subtotal amounts, and the date "1772." Lines 9 and 10 appear on the bottom half of the credit side of the folio page.
