Russia Merchant

The Russia Merchant, London registered, was owned by John Woodall of Scarborough. In April 1760, GW advised the London firm of Robert Cary & Company that he had shipped 15 hogsheads of tobacco to them aboard the Russia Merchant, which was captained at that time by John Boyes (see Ledger A, 67).
