Sarah Tran
Undergraduate Student, University of Virginia
My name is Sarah Tran. I am a fourth-year student, double-majoring in History and Biology at the University of Virginia. I started working at the Papers of the George Washington Project in July 2015. I initially helped with the search for documents about the first First Lady for the Papers of Martha Washington Project, but I now work for the Financial Papers Project. My tasks include adding content about the people recognized in the Financial Papers and linking these names to their biographical information. Working at the Papers of George Washington has granted me a glimpse of the historical research environment that I have considered pursuing in the future. To satisfy both of my academic interests, I hope to gain more opportunities to investigate the history of medicine.
