Thomas Fleming (d. 1786) was a shipwright of Annapolis, Md., who removed to Alexandria, Va., by the early 1760s.
In 1770 Fleming's carpenter had both repaired and sheathed the bottom of GW’s schooner, which had apparently been constructed at Mount Vernon and was completed by late 1765 (see Ledger A, 135). In April 1774, Fleming provided a foremast for GW's brigantine Farmer (see Ledger B, 10).
